The fictional film tells the story of wild geese in Burrard Inlet who are chased from their refuge towards a dubious future.
Interdisciplinary artist, performer, filmmaker and writer, Carole Itter was born in Vancouver in 1939. She studied at the University of B.C., the Vancouver School of Art and at L’Accademia di Belle Arte in Rome, Italy. Her sculptures, collages and performances, as well as the large scale assemblages are always influenced by where she has lived on this West Coast. Among many other exhibitions, her work was included in the international touring exhibition ”WACK! Art and the Feminist Revolution” which originated at the Vancouver Art Gallery. Carole Itter received the Audain Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Visual Arts in 2017.
